reasonably-priced courses for adults, youth and

Registration is ongoing;

14468. YOU MUST REGISTER EVEN IF
CLASS IS FREE FOR YOU. No extra charge for out-of-district
residents. A $5 processing fee is charged on
all refunds. The CE Registrar's
Office is located at 225 West Ave., Hilton. The CE Catalogue
of Courses is postal mailed in August and in December for
the Fall and
Winter/Spring semesters respectively. Driver Education is offered
each semester and
in the summer. Both Hilton District residents
and non-district residents are welcome to register.
No extra charge for out-of-district residents
for regular CE courses
unless noted. Those over age 55 who live in the
Hilton School District may apply for a GAP pass
which offers free/discounted courses. HCSD
employees, retir ees and VEPTO/PTSO volunteers use the GAP rate. No class
confirmations mailed; you will only hear from us
if class is cancelled. Class may be
cancelled due to low enrollment. For further

binding 45” X 45” piece of batting. Please
note if you are going to "Fussy Cut" pieces for
your project purchase one [1] large print for
center of baskets and an extra yard of
fabric of your dark fabric.

Discover SCUBA $45
No GAP This
class is not listed in the Winter-Spring 2013
Catalogue. The PADI Discover Scuba®
Diving program provides participants the
opportunity to try scuba diving before taking
the plunge into a full certification course.
Participants learn how to use scuba equipment
and get to experience breathing underwater and
the sense of weightlessness. An introduction
into basic safety considerations is presented. Prior
to starting the session, participants will be
given a list of medical conditions that apply to
diving, a positive response to any of these
conditions will require approval from the
participant's doctor to continue with the
course. All equipment provided. What to
bring: bathing suit, towel, spare T-shirt. INSTRUCTOR: Pat Clark, PADI Divemaster.

Registration -
Registration for CE classes begins as soon as you receive
the Catalogue of Courses, but is ongoing throughout the
year. All interested persons may register; no
extra charge for out-of-district residents except as noted
in catalogue; generally classes are for adults [age 16+]
unless stated [ex. Dog Obedience, Drivers Licensing, Fitness Swim, Food Safety
Certification]. Only
Hilton CSD residents are eligible for a GAP pass. Refund
requests must be made three days in advance of the first day
of class. A $5 processing fee is charged on refunds if the
class is not free. Registration fee must be received PRIOR to
attending class -- please mail your registration [not supply
fee] early to ensure your registration. Checks are
payable to Hilton Community Education.
Supply fees are collected by instructors.
You will not receive a written confirmation; you will only
receive notice if a class is cancelled. Classes are
generally six weeks in length; discount if you sign up for
multiple sessions.
Catalogue Mailings
- Community Education Course Catalogues are mailed
to all Hilton School District residents in December and August.

ONLINE COURSE RESERVATION

GAP Pass -
free/discounted fee courses for HCSD resident seniors over
age 55, all HCSD employees and Hilton High
School students in specifically-noted courses
[ex. Fitness Swim, Food Safety
Certification]. Hilton School
District residents age 55 or older may apply for a GAP
[Golden Age] pass by calling 585-392-1000 ext. 7044. HCSD
employees and HS students do not have to call;
just indicate on your registration form. GAP allows
for free or discounted registration fees on all courses. In addition, Hilton District residents age 65 or older may
apply for a GAP
Scholarship. This once-a-semester scholarship allows a
senior who qualifies for the NYS Aged Exemption to take a
course free-of-charge [does not include supply
fee]. Individuals with handicapping conditions also are
eligible for a GAP pass. Please call

- The Aquatic Center is located at
Merton Williams Middle School
200 School La., Hilton, with entrance and parking at the
rear of the building off Old Hojack Lane.
DIRECTIONS TO POOL.

The
Hilton Central Schools' Aquatic Center is jointly shared
by the Hilton School District, HCSD Interscholastic
and Intramural Sports, Hilton
Community Education,
HAST [Hilton Area
Swim Team], and
Hilton-Parma Recreation
as determined by interest and need. Participants in any
swim program should leave valuables at home or bring a
padlock to place on a locker. For
