Welcome to Hilton Central School District Community Education which is committed to building a connected learning community through providing reasonably-priced courses for adults, youth and families. Registration is ongoing; print out Registration Form and mail to: Hilton Community Education, 225 West Ave., Hilton, NY 14468. YOU MUST REGISTER EVEN IF CLASS IS FREE FOR YOU.  No extra charge for out-of-district residents.  A $5 processing fee may be charged on refunds. The CE Registrar's Office is located at 225 West Ave., Hilton. The CE Catalog of Courses is postal mailed in August and in December for the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters respectively. Driver Education is offered each semester and in the summer. Both Hilton District residents and non-district residents are welcome to register. No extra charge for out-of-district residents for regular CE courses unless noted. Those over age 55 who live in the Hilton School District may apply for a Golden Age Pass (GAP) which offers some free/discounted courses and activities. HCSD employees, retirees and VEPTO/PTSO volunteers are eligible to use the GAP rate.  No class confirmations are mailed; you will only hear from us if class is cancelled. Class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Driver Education: AAA assigns drive times according to enrollment and the assignments should be posted the week before class begins: www.hilton.k12.ny.us/driver-education.htm. Instruction/theory meets in the High School, Room 2100, 4:10-5:40 p.m. Pay by check or online www.hilton.k12.ny.us/driver-education.htm.: $425 HCSD Resident, No GAP; $435 Non-HCSD Resident.

Registration -  Registration for CE classes begins as soon as you receive the Catalog of Courses, but is ongoing throughout the year.  All interested persons may register; no extra charge for out-of-district residents except as noted in catalog; generally classes are for adults [age 16+] unless stated. Only Hilton CSD residents are eligible for a GAP pass. Refund requests must be made three days in advance of the first day of class. A $5 processing fee may be charged on refunds if the class is not free.  Registration fee must be received PRIOR to attending class -- please mail your registration [not supply fee] early to ensure your registration. Checks are payable to Hilton Community Education. Supply fees are collected by instructors. You will not receive a written confirmation; you will only receive notice if a class is cancelled. Classes are generally six weeks in length; discount if you sign up for multiple sessions. Catalog Mailings - Community Education Course Catalogs are mailed to all Hilton School District residents in December and August.

Emergency Closings - When the Hilton Central School District closes due to emergency or weather-related conditions, Community Education classes and activities on school grounds are cancelled as well. The District contacts the local media when closing the schools is necessary. A message is also placed on the Districtís voicemail, 585-392-1000 and posted to the website, Facebook and Twitter pages. Community Education classes and activities that are held off campus are at the instructorís discretion to cancel. If you have questions, please call (585) 392-1000, ext. 7044 or 7045.

GAP Pass - free/discounted fee courses for HCSD resident seniors (age 55 or older) and all HCSD employees. Hilton School District residents age 55 or older may apply for a GAP (Golden Age Pass) by calling 585-392-1000 ext. 7044. Proof of age is required. HCSD employees, please indicate GAP on your registration form. GAP allows for some free or discounted registration fees on courses. In addition, Hilton District residents age 65 or older may apply for a GAP Scholarship. This once-a-semester scholarship allows a senior who qualifies for the NYS Aged Exemption to take a course free of charge (does not include supply fee). Individuals with handicapping conditions also are eligible for GAP. Please call 585-392-1000 ext. 7044/7045 for more information.

Hilton Schools Aquatic Center - The Aquatic Center is located at Merton Williams Middle School 200 School La., Hilton, with entrance and parking at the rear of the building off Old Hojack Lane.  DIRECTIONS TO POOL.

The Hilton Central Schools' Aquatic Center is jointly shared by the Hilton School District, HCSD Interscholastic and Intramural Sports, Hilton Community Education, HAST [Hilton Area Swim Team], and Hilton-Parma Recreation as determined by interest and need. Participants in any swim program should leave valuables at home or bring a padlock to place on a locker.
