residents. A $5 processing fee is charged on all
refunds. The CE Registrar's Office is located at 225 West
Ave., Hilton. The CE Catalog
of Courses is postal mailed in August and in December for
the Fall and
Winter/Spring semesters respectively. Driver Education is offered
each semester and
in the summer. Both Hilton District residents
and non-district residents are welcome to register.
No extra charge for out-of-district residents
for regular CE courses
unless noted. Those over age 55 who live in the
Hilton School District may apply for a GAP pass
which offers free/discounted courses. HCSD
employees, retirees and VEPTO/PTSO volunteers use the GAP rate. No class
confirmations mailed; you will only hear from us
if class is cancelled. Class may be
cancelled due to low enrollment. For further

College Planning Relief
This course is especially helpful for families of students in grades
9-12. Topics discussed will include: FAFSA, PROFILE,
EFC, COA, FAO, APA, IPA; why the “sticker price” is not the
price you should pay attention to; how to determine aid
eligibility; why private schools could save you thousands;
scholarships and the myth of “free money.”
Learn to avoid overspending for college. Instructor:
Diane B. Hajecki, CFP is a financial planner specializing in
college funding strategies and financial aid data gathering.

Get Paid to Talk
Learn to make money with your voice and what a voice
over is; which voice types are in demand; why there is
increased demand for new voices; how to create your best
demo; and where to begin. Instructor: Voice Coaches Staff.
Cost: $30, $20/GAP. One evening, Monday, May 5, 6:30-9 p.m.

Fraud and Identity Theft
seminar will provide an overview of how to protect yourself
against fraud and identify theft, including easy prevention
tips and what to do if you become a victim. Presenters:

PADI Discover Scuba® Diving -
Price reduced to $45!
participants the opportunity to try scuba diving before
taking the plunge into a
full certification course. Participants learn how to use scuba equipment and get
to experience breathing underwater and the sense of weightlessness. An
introduction into basic safety considerations is presented. Minimum age: 10.
Bring bathing suit, towel and spare T-shirt. Dates -

PADI Open Water Instructor
Driver Education Classroom instruction
in Rm. 2100 at Hilton HS: July 7 – July 29, Monday - Friday;
classroom instruction/theory 10:30 a.m. – Noon in Rm. 2100
Hilton High School; vehicle drives are 9:10 – 10:30
am. Registration fee: $425/HCSD student;
$435/out-of-district student; discount available for
families qualifying for Free/Reduced Meal program in HCSD.
Class size is limited. Online Credit Card registration

- Registration for CE classes begins as
soon as you receive the Catalog of Courses, but is ongoing throughout the
year. All interested persons may register; no
extra charge for out-of-district residents except as noted
in catalog; generally classes are for adults [age 16+]
unless stated [ex. Dog Obedience, Drivers Licensing, Fitness Swim, Food Safety
Hilton CSD residents are eligible for a GAP pass. Refund
requests must be made three days in advance of the first day
of class. A $5 processing fee is charged on refunds if the
class is not free. Registration fee must be received PRIOR to
attending class -- please mail your registration [not supply
fee] early to ensure your registration. Checks are
payable to Hilton Community Education.
Supply fees are collected by instructors.
You will not receive a written confirmation; you will only
receive notice if a class is cancelled. Classes are
generally six weeks in length; discount if you sign up for
multiple sessions. Catalog Mailings
- Community Education Course Catalogs are mailed
to all Hilton School District residents in December and August.
Closings - When the Hilton Central
School District closes due to emergency or
weather-related conditions, Community Education
classes and activities on school grounds are
cancelled as well. The District contacts the
local media when closing the schools is
necessary. A message is also placed on the
District’s voicemail, 585-392-1000 and posted to
the website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
Community Education classes and activities that
are held off campus are at the instructor’s
discretion to cancel. If you have questions,

ONLINE COURSE RESERVATION
- Activated only when payment is received.
- free/discounted fee courses for HCSD resident
seniors over age 55, all HCSD employees and
Hilton High School students in
specifically-noted courses [ex. Fitness Swim,
Food Safety Certification]. Hilton School
District residents age 55 or older may apply for
a GAP (Golden Age Pass) (proof of age required) by calling 585-392-1000 ext. 7044. HCSD
employees and HS students do not have to call;
just indicate on your registration form. GAP allows
for free or discounted registration fees on courses. In addition, Hilton District residents age 65 or older may
apply for a GAP
Scholarship. This once-a-semester scholarship allows a
senior who qualifies for the NYS Aged Exemption to take a
course free-of-charge [does not include supply
fee]. Individuals with handicapping conditions also are
eligible for a GAP pass. Please call

200 School La., Hilton, with entrance and parking at the
rear of the building off Old Hojack Lane.
DIRECTIONS TO POOL.
Hilton Central Schools' Aquatic Center is jointly shared
by the Hilton School District, HCSD Interscholastic
and Intramural Sports, Hilton
HAST [Hilton Area
Swim Team], and
as determined by interest and need. Participants in any
swim program should leave valuables at home or bring a
padlock to place on a locker. For
