Hilton CSD Teachers Technology Incentive
The use of websites is a
powerful tool for teachers to communicate with
parents and students. In recognition of the amount
of time maintaining a website can involve, the
teachers association and administration have
approved teachers creating websites in lieu of
submitting a technology project.
TECHNOLOGY INCENTIVE
FRAMEWORK FOR 21ST CENTURY LEARNING
Guidelines: Teachers
may create/maintain a classroom website or create a
technology project. Technology projects must still be
entered in the online database located on the Intranet under
the Tech Incentive.
Websites must be maintained on a timely basis and have some
interactive use.
Staff Development in website
creation and technology projects: To qualify for the
technology incentive, teachers must work at least eight
hours on their project/website, not including release time
or in-service staff development.
