Hilton Central Schools music students selected for All-County Festival Honors

Congratulations to Hilton CSD music students who have been selected to participate in All-County Festivals in March: the Sr. High All-County Festival will be held Mar. 9-10 at Gates-Chili High School; the Jr. High All-County Festival will be held Mar. 23-24 at Webster Schroeder High School; and the Elementary All County Festival March 16-17 will be held at Roberts Wesleyan College. 

Senior High students from Hilton High School were selected for the Monroe County Band/Orchestra, March 9-10, 2012 at Gates Chili High School based on their solo festival audition comments and scores. The concert will be held on March 10 at 2:30 pm at the Eastman Theatre. lnstrumental music students of teacher Nancy Russo selected are: Allison Shields, Flute; Carlos Rivera, Alto Saxophone; Robert Wright, Trumpet; Michael Wall, String Bass; Rachel Zachary, Flute; Victoria Kompanijec, Bassoon; Kaitlin Tyrrell, Clarinet; Anne Taylor, Trumpet; Diana Russo, Piccolo (alternate); Jacob Kuebler, Euphonium (alternate); Joe Distefano, Percussion (alternate); Nicholas Marsaw, Percussion/Mallets (alternate).  Students of Vocal Music Teacher Adam Klock will be participating at the same All-County event in the Mixed Chorus and Women’s Chorus - Mixed Chorus: Ashleigh Bechtold – Soprano I; Emily DiMartino – Soprano II; Victoria DePalma – Alto I; Erica Wydra – Alto II; Christopher Matney – Tenor I; Wesley Rivais – Tenor II; Bradley Whittemore – Bass I; Allen Witters – Bass II; Women’s Chorus: Lindsey Bechtold – Soprano I; Sarah Ferrell – Soprano II; Jena Ferris – Alto I; Karine Rose - Alto II. Students of Vocal Music Teacher Katherine Klock selected to perform in the Junior High All County Chorus: Nicole Bradbury - Soprano; Marielle Buss - Alto; Brady Farrell - Tenor; Sam Melita - Tenor.

Junior High students selected for the Jr. High All County Festival will be held March 23-24 at Webster Schroeder High School from Merton Williams Middle School are: Maura Connorton – Bassoon; Alyssa Reese- Clarinet; Alexa Miles- Oboe; Lily Story- Flute;  Alternate Austin Hertel- French Horn Alternate.

Elementary students: Village Elementary School: Max Jamerson, Trombone; Evan Pirnie, Trumpet; and James Hayward, Tuba; Northwood Elementary School: Julia Marino, Clarinet; Jack Street, Alto Sax; Michael Abbott, Tenor Sax; Kyle Johnson, Baritone Sax; Nicky Grasso, Trumpet; Ethan Mann, Trombone; and Carter Miles, Tuba; Quest Elementary School: Linnea Tyrrell, Flute; Matthew Piato, Trumpet; William North, Trombone; Annalisa Messerklinger, Euphonium; Catherine Skinner, Percussion; and Kayla Reese, Flute Alternate.
