January from 9 am to 5 pm at the IACC, 150 Frank
DiMino Way [off Manitou Rd.], Rochester.
Directions to IACC.
Students of Art Program Coordinator and
High School Art Instructor Jan Dentino, the students are:
Leann DiBisceglie, Tori DePalma, Andrea Hagen, Rachel
Johnson, Amanda Keirstead and Julia Palozzi. The works
include drawings of nature, portraits and mixed media.
Leanna, Tori and Amanda are students in the International
Baccalaureate Visual Art course. All students are
enrolled in advanced art courses.
The IACC Revolving Art Exhibit features
the work of students who are excelling in art at area high
schools. Hilton High School as well as Gates-Chili and
Spencerport High Schools were represented.
"The IACC endeavors to encourage the
community youth and to engage them in participation of
community programs," writes IACC newsletter reporter Karen
Sterlace. "This endeavor is made possible by a
donation from Anna Vivinetto whose son was encouraged by
similar scholastic art shows while in high school and
continued on to a successful career in graphic design,
advertising and marketing."
