News, events, media relations Hilton School District news and events are published on the District Web Site, through news and web releases, and in the Hilton Insight, a newsletter of achievements, activities and news about the Hilton school community mailed to district households. Cable Access Programming for cable access is managed by District Communications. The Hilton School District participates in the Your School News and Highlights cable CH 12 program throughout the school year. Monroe2 BOCES is the producer with segments taped in the Hilton schools. The program airs Wednesdays from 9 am-10 am and 5 pm-6 pm; and repeats on Fridays at 10 am-11 am and 7 pm-8 pm.

Hilton CSD Music Program Coordinator Nancy Russo announces that Hilton High School has reached the GRAMMY Signature School semi-finalist stage this year: GRAMMY Signature School Recognition

Quest Elementary Spanish Teacher Wendy Wolf obtained of $7,600 in learning materials, authentic instruments and technology equipment from Donors Choose to explore the music of Central and South America.

Music K-12 Program Coordinator Nancy Russo announces the Hilton Central School District has been again named one of the nation's "Best Communities for Music Education" by the NAMM Foundation.

Hilton Central Schools Teachers Association 2010-11 selection of the Hilton Teacher of the Year Greg Booth The award was presented on September 7 at the annual staff convocation at Hilton High School. This year's honoree is Quest Elementary School REACH teacher Greg Booth: Teacher of the Year
