Evening of Jazz at Merton Williams Middle School for Feb. 10, 2012 at 7 pm features multiple guest artists The Hilton HS and Merton Williams Jazz Departments, along with the Hilton Music Boosters are presenting their 9th Annual Evening of Jazz. This event will be held on Friday February 10, 2012 at 7 pm at the Merton Williams Middle School. This years’ show, entitled “A Rochester Connection” is going to feature multiple guest artists with ties to the Rochester area.  These artists include Paul V. Gaspar, Lynn Ligamarri (endorsed by Conn-Selmer), Dave Mancini (endorsed by Yamaha), Joe Santora, Jon “Skeeter” Seiger and John Viavattine.  These guest artists have performed, recorded & played with such national acts as Ella Fitzgerald, Maynard Ferguson, Roy Eldridge, Cabo Frio, Doc Severinson, Eddie Daniels, Jeff Tyzik, Allen Vizzutti, The Temptations, The Four Tops and many more!!!  These Guests will be performing in the “Rochester All-Star Big Band” as well as alongside our High School & Middle School Jazz Bands.  Bios for artists. Hilton High School Senior Bash Friday, Mar. 2, 2012   This event has been a tradition for years and is a "gift" from the parents to the seniors that provides a fun night to get together, bond and create some lasting memories all in a drug and alcohol free environment.  It is an over-night, lock in event that is packed with lots of fun activities, food and prizes.  Some planned highlights of the evening will include a hypnotist, D.J., photo booth, fun inflatables, air tattoos, games and lots of food.  Seniors have often said that this is the best night of their high school years! Village Elementary School Sixth Grade Gymnastics Night March 8, 2012 at Village Elementary, 100 School La., Hilton.

Operation Local Soldier Friday, March 30, 2012   The seventh annual Operation Local Soldier will be hed from 6 pm-9 pm at Merton Williams Middle School, 200 School La., Hilton.  "This year's event will be dedicated to SGT David Lemcke US Army and Hilton HS graduate who was MIA in Vietnam for almost 40 years," said teacher and event organizer Amy Jensen-Helmer.  "During the opening ceremony we will honor and recognize the local men and women who are serving our country as well as thank the veterans who have already served."  As in prior years, elementary-age students can participate in fun activities including the rock wall climb, swimming in the pool and making crafts. Students are encouraged to write letters to soldiers and make a craft for children in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Pizza and beverages are available for purchase. HCSTA Scholarship Fun Night April 20, 2012   An annual event for elementary students, the annual Hilton Central Schools Teachers Association Scholarship Fun Night will be held Friday, April 20, from 6 pm-9 pm at Hilton High School, 400 East Ave., Hilton. 

Community Education  Find out more about Active Adult Fitness, Financial Literacy and more. Winter & Spring 2012 session begins in January.  Session I and Session II classes begin the week of Feb. 27.  Registration is ongoing beginning in December.  Classes run from January to June including Driver Education.   - read more -
