Northwood Advanced Band places first in class at Darien Lake Music Festival May 12, 2012

The Northwood Elementary School Advanced Band placed First in the Class A Band Division at the Darien Lake Music Festival held Saturday, May 12, 2012. 

Earning top honors, Northwood also garnered the prestigious “Gold with Distinction” award given to those groups scoring a 95 or above [Northwood scored 96.7].  Northwood needed to score higher than several middle school bands to finish in first place, as Northwood was the only elementary school entered in the competition.
