Village Elementary School Principal
right at Home
“The first day was exciting and a
little overwhelming,” she said. “Until you see about
one-thousand students streaming in, you can't imagine what
that looks like. But with the Village's systems in place, it
was a wonderful scene of everyone welcoming students back.”
For Principal Tracie Czebatol the Village Elementary is
fast-becoming home. “The Village is an amazing educational
institution for these children. Families can feel at home
here,” she said. Principal Czebatol arrived August 1
replacing long-serving principal Daniel Talany who retired
this year. Formerly she was elementary principal in
the York School District for four years and was a teacher in
the Rush-Henrietta District for seven years which included
fourth grade and multi-age settings.
She holds a Masters in Elementary
Education and Curriculum. Mrs. Czebatol is a resident of
Henrietta where she lives with her husband, Todd and three
children ranging in age from 18 months to eight years. She
is an adjunct professor at SUNY Brockport teaching
"Supervision" in the Educational Administration program.
The Pre-K-6 Village Elementary School is one of three
elementary schools in the Hilton Central School District and
is the District’s largest elementary school. It is located
at 100 School Lane in the village of Hilton.
