Veterans Day Ceremonies held at Hilton Community Center
Students from both Quest Elementary
School and Merton Williams Middle School gathered with a
contingent of area veterans on Nov. 10 to participate in
Veterans Day Ceremonies at the Hilton Community
 Center on
Henry St.
The Hilton-Parma Veterans Honor Guard led by
Al Howe and John Barclay along with Middle School teacher
Pam Tenney, coordinated the event.
Supervisor-elect
Peter McCann, a Vietnam veteran, told students the
importance of "all the freedoms we have today were hard
won."
Veteran Bob Hall performed taps.
Rev. Walter Steenson of the Hilton Baptist Church addressed
the event as a vet eran of Desert Storm.
