Official high school communication is also made via email and automated phone calls. Principal Green typically sends out one Hilton High Student and Family Update at the end of the week via email. The email is sent to parents and guardians, as well as all high school students. High School students are responsible for checking their school email daily!
Whenever Principal Green sends out a Hilton High Student and Family Update, he also posts it on the Principal Newsletter page within the High School Student and Family Connection website, which is a great resource with loads of high school specific information. Any other social media platforms are not official. They may choose to re-share information, but they are not official sources and should not be relied upon for official information from the school or district. An example is a parent facebook page used to help coordinate the Senior Bash. The use of social media is encouraged for sharing the good within our school community and discouraged from being used to spread negativity.
