HOMECOMING IS NEXT WEEK! Did you mark your calendars for these fun events? Hope to see you there!

We're getting ready to celebrate our Senior Athletes! Check out the list of Senior Nights happening over the next several weeks. #GoCadets #CadetProud

Check out this excellent opportunity to join the Hilton CSD team! For more info and to apply, visit Hilton.Recruitfront.com

Today we celebrate Hilton graduates Will Caruso and Lucas Edsall, and Michael Coval and Alyssa Almekinder, who are working as machine operators at Sydor Optics and attending MCC majoring in optics. The grads took the Introduction to Optical Technology course at Hilton High School, which opened the door to this exciting field. Hilton High School also offers career fairs where students can get introduced to optics companies and then take advantage of job shadowing opportunities. Once hired, they may even be able to get their college courses paid for. Ann Marie Graham, Sydor Human Resources manager, said that the Hilton grads they have hired have a good work ethic. We are proud of our grads!

Welcome to our newest teaching staff! #Welcoming #Affirming #CadetProud

Middle & High School students enjoyed this delicious lunch today - all from NYS products! The grant funded program, titled NYS Farms to Schools, brings NYS products and food to our cafeterias and is a win-win for schools, NYS businesses & farms!

Congratulations to senior Elise Woods on receiving the 2023 College Board
National African American Recognition Award (NAARA) and National Indigenous Award (NIA). The College Board National Recognition Programs celebrate students' hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance. The academic honors for rural area, Black, Indigenous, and/or Latino students are an opportunity for students to share their strong academic achievements with colleges and scholarship programs that are seeking to recruit diverse talent.

Hilton CSD joins the digital commemoration #RemembertheSky as we mark the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. This digital commemoration is inspired by the clear blue sky that was present in New York City & across the country on 9/11, as well as by Spencer Finch’s art installation in the 9/11 Memorial Museum. His artwork, “Trying to Remember the Color of the Sky on That September Morning,” is comprised of 2,983 watercolors — each a unique shade of blue — a tribute to the enormity of collective loss and the individuality of each of those who were taken from us far too soon. #neverforget911

The rain held off and the temps cooled down in time for Hilton High School's annual Welcome Fest! This celebration of the first week of school during lunch sets gives students a chance to eat outside, hang out with their friends and play games!

Hilton students are eating local! Each month, our Food Service staff will choose days where the lunch menu will feature NYS products & food from our local farms. The grant funded program, titled NYS Farms to Schools, is a win-win for schools, NYS businesses & farms!

And we're off! To a great school year that is! We're so happy to welcome back our students and staff. As you can see, there were plenty of smiles, hugs & high fives to go around! Thank you to our parents and guardians for all of your support! ❤ #HiltonBack2School #Welcoming #Affirming
