Stay home when sick

Students with symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home and/or be sent home. Testing is recommended as soon as possible for individuals experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 should not attend school and isolate for 5 days at home. For those who are symptomatic, Day 1 is the first full day after the onset of symptoms (Day 0 is the day symptoms began). For those experiencing no symptoms, Day 0 is the day tested (not the day of the positive test result) and Day 1 is the first full day following the day tested. Once isolation has ended, people should wear a well-fitting mask around others through Day 10.
