Hilton High School student Samantha Korzenieski has been awarded a scholarship from the Hilton Networking Group to attend the Golisano Institute’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA)—a nationally recognized program that empowers students to develop, refine, and pitch their own business ventures. On January 9, representatives from Hilton High School and the Hilton Networking Group gathered to celebrate this achievement with a ceremonial scholarship presentation—complete with a “big check” moment to mark the occasion.
The Hilton Networking Group, a coalition of local business leaders committed to supporting community growth, sponsors this opportunity to help cultivate the next generation of innovators. Through YEA, Samantha will collaborate with Rochester-area entrepreneurs, gain hands-on experience in business planning, and ultimately pitch her idea to a panel of investors for the chance to earn real startup funding.
