Because of next week’s forecast which calls for heat indexes reaching in excess of 100 degrees we will be moving to a half day schedule for grades K-8 on Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24 for students only. We have made this decision due to a lack of sufficient air conditioning in some of our buildings and with the best interest of our students in mind.
The dismissal times for each school are as follows:
Merton Williams Middle School-10:15
Northwood and Village Elementary Schools-11:00
QUEST Elementary School-11:35
Exams taking place at the high school on these days will not be impacted.

Field day at QUEST today meant plenty of laughs, lawn games and of course, the water slide!

Congratulations to our two golfers who competed in the New York State Championships this weekend at Wild Wood Country Club in Rush. Reagan Paolini finished 35th and Jacey Neylon tied for 43rd out of 106 golfers competing. Jacey is in 8th grade and Reagan is in 7th, so the future is bright!

What a great opportunity for Merton Williams students to learn about and help protect natural environments in our area. The 7th grade Health Science Teachers (Ms. Drex, Mr. Ellicott and, Ms. Peterson) chose students that have shown excellent character during class and their actions have aligned with our district goals. Some of these goals include, Being Curious, Being Non-judgmental AND Being a Welcoming person. As a reward, students participated in a field trip with other students. The field trip provided students the opportunity to complete a community service project that aimed to educate our youth about the importance of clean waterways and preserving our most precious natural resource. In an effort to do this we visit the Ontario Charlotte Beach / Park. Students helped clean up the beach, the area walkways and learn about Lake Ontario and the Genesee River.

From the opening session with Dr. Gaupp and Mr. Brooke-Gay to the all the amazing presentations throughout the school, Science Day at Quest was a huge hit! A huge thank you to all the volunteers, presenters and staff who helped with the organization! See some of the pictures here: https://hiltonschools.smugmug.com/2024-2025/QUEST/Science-Day
