About a dozen area colleges visited the High School this afternoon for the Western New York College Fair. Students were able to learn first-hand about everything from academic and athletic offerings to extracurriculars and student life.

Team Infinity from Merton Williams recently took all of their middle schoolers (110 students and 20 adults--including 11 parent chaperones) to the Memorial Art Gallery for a Look to Learn tour. During this tour, students participated in a small group docent-led tours titled “Learning to Look: An Introduction to the Gallery.”
After that. they took a short drive to view a famous piece of Rochester's history: the Clock of Nations. Prior to this visit, the students learned about the clock and its impact on our community & its history.

At last night's Board of Education meeting, we recognized the recipients of this year's Friends of Education Award. Thank you and congratulations to Ryan Rockefeller, ESL (Michelle Shafer), Colleen Nowacki, Deana Turner and Dr. Marjorie Gloff. Also receiving the award but unable to attend were Melissa Molinini, Megan Boise, and Lindsay DeLucia. There was also a presentation from Merton Williams staff and students about the school's 6 go 7 Summer Program. Thanks to students Adalyn, Hadley, Mckenna, and Sienna for sharing your insights.
A great opportunity for students in Steve Randall's Principles of Engineering class. They visited Optimax in Ontario, NY yesterday to learn about real-world engineering in a precision optics environment.

Cali's humor is contagious, and she is always trying to make everyone around her feel better.

Members of the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions)/Fun Club from Merton Williams spent some time with first graders at Village talking to them about being safe for Halloween. The club consists of 7th and 8th graders that work on empowering young peers to make safe, healthy choices in life. The club would like to create monthly events that support our district's goals and work hand in hand with peers throughout our Hilton Schools.





Paige is always looking for new challenges and ways to improve herself.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with our 17th Make a Difference Day. There were great projects happening all over town on Saturday, from stuff the bus at Tops to cleaning up along Salmon Creek, and so much more!

More than 150 runners from Village, QUEST and Northwood took part in a 6th grade fun run today at Parma Town Park. Congratulations to the boy's winner Jacob Reger, the girl's winner Daniella Grudko and to everyone who ran.
