It's off to the National Invention Convention for a pair of Northwood students! Livia Standing and Estelle Greiner were selected by judges this weekend at the Western New York Convention in Buffalo to move on to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
Livia created the Seal Swiper, a device that safely and cleanly removes the plastic from the top of condiment bottles and other household items. Estelle's invention, the Snow Snatcher keeps snow from falling onto your seat when you open your car door.
Congratulation and good luck to these incredible inventors!

Merton Williams is lucky to have Bill West behind the wheel, safely transporting students every day. Bill greets everyone with a smile and helps fix our Parent Drop-Off sign if the winds have blown it over. Bill's Integrity, along with his People First attitude shine brightly.

Yesterday at Northwood some amazing kids showed off their amazing inventions in the annual Invention Convention. Need a device to clean the backup camera on your car? How about an all-natural lotion to improve concentration? These students had that and more! Here are some photos: https://hiltonschools.smugmug.com/2024-2025/Northwood/Invention-Convention
