Congratulations to 17 students in the WEMOCO program at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES for their induction into the National Technical Honor Society! The NTHS honors the achievements of the top career and technical education students across the country. A formal ceremony will be held on November 28.

Congratulations to our Crimson Cadets Marching Band for finishing third at the New York State Field Band Conference in Syracuse Sunday, October 29. The band achieved one of its highest scores in its history with an 82.2! The band competed against schools three to four times the size of Hilton!

High school students from Sources of Strength attended the New York State School Board Association’s Conference in Buffalo Friday. While there, they met up with members of Hilton’s School Board who visited their display at the conference. The display aimed at educating other attendees about the group’s mission and accomplishments.
When asked how Karen demonstrates the characteristics of welcoming and affirming and/or curious, not judgmental, a colleague said “Karen is an outstanding 1-1 aide who not only makes sure her student is succeeding, but also provides support to all other students around her. She is a supportive colleague and always a helping hand!”
To celebrate the 30 million bushels of apples New York produces each year, our schools participated in the annual Big Apple Crunch.
