"Amy gives and expects the girls of the softball program to dedicate to themselves and the team in every aspect. She leads through hard work, enthusiasm and honesty with everything she does. Amy is upfront with each player, helping them to understand their role on the team while compassionately helping each player improve individually. The environment that she provides and interactions she has with the girls shows how much they mean to her as people first then as student-athletes. Amy goes above and beyond when it comes to her girls and the sport. It has been a pleasure to watch and learn from her while standing alongside her coaching. Many of her former athletes come back and want to be in her dugout once again, a few have even come back and have coached in the program. Amy is an outstanding member of the Hilton staff."

We had a great time celebrating our retirees and longtime employees earlier this week. Here's a look back at the day: https://youtu.be/2shCVGIQeNs

"Stephanie provides a welcoming and affirming environment for the students every day! She goes out of her way to make sure all student health needs are met and that they feel cared for. Stephanie is a rock star!" Thank you for all you do, Stephanie!

That's a wrap! The last day of school comes to a close with a bus loop send off at QUEST. Have a great summer, Cadet Nation!
Great way to close out the school year-Field Day at Quest. A little bit of everything, including a slip 'n slide!
Last day of school means the last day of sixth grade for the class of 2030. Northwood held its Moving On Ceremony today-next stop, Merton Williams!
According to her colleagues, "Julie demonstrates all four of our intentional values daily. She is always working to meet the needs of her students. She plans diligently and creates interactive and exciting experiences for her class that connect to content but also engage and inspire. She is an incredible colleague, always pouring her best into everything she does. She is not only an asset to our building and a fantastic teacher, but also a wonderful and thoughtful person."

UPK students at Village Elementary from Mrs. Kirsch and Mrs. Parina’s class had some special guests at their moving up ceremony. Superintendent Kosiorek and Assistant Superintendent Dale were there to congratulate them on receiving their preschool diplomas.

Hey, did you hear the news? The class of 2036 is finishing up kindergarten! QUEST Elementary held its moving up ceremony today.
Last week Mr. Weber's Music Essentials class put on a great performance of "Under the Sea Adventures." The kids nailed their performances of songs like Fast Car, Here Comes the Sun, and the theme from SpongeBob SquarePants!
As we shift to the final days before summer break, the weather this week has forecasted very warm temperatures. As we monitor the heat index, our district always takes precautions to ensure students and staff are safe and comfortable. Please be aware of the following:
• All our schools have air-conditioned areas which can be used to get away from the heat for classrooms that do not have AC.
• We will limit or cancel outdoor activities if the temperature becomes too high.
• All our buildings have water bottle filling stations and will encourage everyone to drink lots of water.
In addition to trying to make our buildings as comfortable as possible, please remember to dress your children in light, comfortable clothing, and provide them with a water bottle for use at school.
We will continue to do everything in our power to keep our staff and students as comfortable as possible in the coming days. For information specific to your child’s building, please contact their school directly.

Congratulations to the class of 2030! You are headed to the 7th grade! Both QUEST and Village Elementary held their 6th grade moving up ceremonies today.
A great tradition continued at Northwood this morning-the annual Flag Day celebration. Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially members of the Hiscock-Fishbaugh American Legion Post, State Assemblyman Josh Jensen and our amazing students!
How does Joe Ralyea display Cadet Intentional Values? "Joe has been teaching in alternative education for several years. He develops positive and supportive relationships with his students because of his inclusive approach. He gets to know his students and differentiates his interactions with students based on their individual needs. He provides them with work that helps to build their confidence as learners and students."

Welcome to our newest staff! #Welcoming #Affirming #CadetProud
