A great opportunity for students in Sy Potter and Kelley Stoll's class at Merton Williams to gain first-hand knowledge about Cuba from one of their classmates. Addiel Marino-Calderon added details related to the book they are currently reading entitled, "Refugee." His parents, Maidely and Froylan also came in and taught the class how to Salsa.

These two outstanding seniors have been chosen to throw out the first pitch at Hilton Schools Night with the Red Wings on May 16.
Paige Siciliano is a two-sport varsity athlete for both her basketball and softball teams. She is planning on going to Syracuse University next year and majoring in Computer Engineering.
Tyler Reisinger is planning on attending either Clarkson or Virginia Tech where he will major in Aerospace Engineering. A member of the varsity football team, he is also an eagle Scout.

It was a great night for one of the district's most cherished events-Empty Bowls. The fundraiser raised money for the Hilton Cadet Cupboard as well as Heifer International, groups that help bring food to those in need. For the first time this year people were able to either purchase ceramic bowls or paint their own. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a special night.

What a great morning for QUEST students to visit one of our areas most amazing places-the Braddock Bay Raptor Research Center. The kids got to see raptors up close and learn about these amazing birds. They definitely had a birds-eye view, along with being able to view a bird's eye! Instructional technicians will be sharing basic information about AI, as well as information on the journey we have taken as a district, how we are using generative AI tools, and a Magic Student AI pilot planned for the fall.
