It was an epic showdown between our three elementary schools in the Battle of the Books. Teams were quizzed on the content of books they have read over the last few months and go head-to-head in a Jeopardy style tournament.
Congratulations to all three teams on a great performance, Bestie Bunch from Northwood, Book Besties from QUEST and when all was said and done, the Duke of Ducks from Village who came out on top.
The Dukes will go on to compete against other schools in the area in regional competition.
You can see pictures from the competition here:

It's one of the oldest, and definitely the coldest tradition going at QUEST-the annual Sled Race! Today the students who have spent months working on their vehicles put them to the test against one another and the elements. Congratulations to this year's winners:
The Primary Level champ was the Charmander created by Mrs. Langswager's class
The Elementary Level champ was the Volcanis created by Gauge Camp, Alden Kenig and Wyatt Werner from Mrs. PJ's class
The Intermediate Level champ was the Flight Simulator created by Andrew Stickney from Mrs. Healey's class-who also went on to win the title of Grand Champion!
Here are some pictures from today's races: https://hiltonschools.smugmug.com/2025-2026/QUEST/Sled-Race

Mike consistently puts people first, approaching every challenge with empathy, collaboration, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. His commitment to lifelong learning is evident not only in his professional growth but also in the way he shares his knowledge as a dedicated volunteer firefighter. The insights he has brought back from that service, especially his understanding of safety protocols and emerging technologies, have been invaluable. His contributions related to meeting the NYSED electric bus mandate have helped the district and first responders navigate complex safety requirements.
