This morning marked the start of the 2026-2027 school year for Hilton Staff and it kicked off with a district-wide staff meeting at the High School. 

Highlights from the day included the announcement of the School Related Professional and Educator of the Year.

Congratulations to Kristen Merlo, a Teacher Aide at Merton Williams on being named SRP of the year and Amy Jensen from Northwood, selected as Educator of the Year.

The day closed out with a little inspiration from Team Norway at this summer’s World Cup.  Superintendent Dr. Casey Kosiorek channeled his inner Viking and stressed the importance of everyone putting their oar in the water and rowing in the same direction so we can all move forward together.
